Individual Therapy
Individual counseling is a process in which clients work one-on-one with a qualified mental health clinician in a secure, comforting, and private setting. It is sometimes referred to as psychotherapy, talk therapy, or treatment. Individuals may seek therapy to help with issues that are hard to face alone. The overall goal of therapy is to inspire change and improve an individual’s quality of life.
Telehealth
Telehealth refers to the use of online information and communication tools to receive outpatient mental health services. Our clinical telehealth services include Psychotherapy and Psychiatric services, which include psychiatric evaluation and medication management.
Play Therapy
A form of counseling or psychotherapy in which Clinicians use play as a means of helping children express their inner world. Through play, children can explore their emotions and communicate their feelings.
Sensory Room
A controlled and intentionally created therapeutic space with a variety of soft play sensory resources and materials that combine multiple stimuli (visual, physical, auditory, and tactile) to aid children in self-regulation, anxiety, and stress.
Treatment Planning
Treatment planning begins with identification of a problem specific to the individual. The course of treatment is developed in collaboration with the client, family, and Caleo clinician. The plan and progress are reviewed periodically.
Treatment
Treatment is based on the needs of the individual. We offer individual or group psychotherapy as well as couples and family treatment. These approaches are not exclusive and may be used in conjunction with each other.
Caleo Clinical Services Open Access
Monday through Thursday from 9AM to 12PM and 1PM to 3PM at 3043 State Route 4 in Hudson Falls. Mental health clinicians availability may vary for mental health assessments. Treatment recommendations and referrals made as appropriate. Adults only.
Satellite Services
Caleo offers satellite services through the communities we serve.
- On-site School Satellite Services: are by contract and free of charge to the school districts, working with each student’s family insurance to cover the costs of the therapy and psychiatric sessions the child needs. A clinician from Caleo is present on the school campus can provide all of the therapy services their student need, which ultimately leads to better engagement with the student without the worries of transportation to appointments and potentially missing more schooling hours. They can also provide referrals to Caleo’s Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for psychiatric evaluation and medication management if necessary. Clinicians work with each student’s team within the schools and with the student’s family to ensure a holistic approach to the student’s care. In addition, agency trainers are available to educate and train school staff and students on a host of material, including mental health topics, suicide safety, and vicarious trauma offered on an as-needed basis.
- Pediatric Satellite Services: A clinician is present at a local pediatric office that provides therapy services for their pediatric clients as they would at the Caleo Main Site. To ensure a comprehensive approach to the child’s care, clinicians collaborate with the child’s pediatric team.
